We provide turn-key or any portion of engineering, software design, AutoCad, panel manufacturing, installation, testing and commissioning. Typical applications include motion control, machine control, power, medical, aggregate and mills for both new and upgrade systems.
Our engineering department has a long history of electrical design, CAD, PLC programming, HMI programming and specialty programming in other areas. As a Rockwell recognized system integrator and a GE recognized system integrator RASP has proven our ability to maintain a high level of standards along with technical competencies. RASP programs and designs systems to meet certain standards depending on the application and is certified for UL508A and UL for hazardous areas. We are not limited to just one type of industry as we design for machine automation, process control, chemical plants, aggregate, water/waste-water and pulp & paper just to name a few.
With close to a 22,000 square foot facility, our panel shop is approximately 16,000 square foot and geared around building panels in a timely manner with quality. This is where the assembly, wiring, testing shipping receiving etc. is done. The shop is equipped to handle large and small projects of any sizes. RASP builds many panels for various projects sometimes for customers who do their own design and many are for internally designed projects. We engrave our own phenolic tags, wire labels and terminal labels in house to help speed up the process along with doing panel cut-outs. Our shop is fully capable of dealing with PLC’s, HMI’s, power supplies, vibration monitoring, analog, digital, valves, servos, AC/DC drives, encoders, transducers and much more. Standard panel building practices include UL and NEC standards. Having fifteen panel builders, a shop manager and a project manager is how we, (at the date of this writing), handle over 50 current projects with over a dozen different customers.
Other services include testing, troubleshooting, installation, startup services, AC drive commissioning, infrared heat inspection and conduit runs.
